PI-Cleaner · cleaning
The product shown on the cleaning side removes residues of appropriate materials from the system. Compatibility of the medium with the injection material and pump must be checked.
KNOWLEDGE · EQUIPMENT AND INJECTION
Plan cleaning before preparing material. Resin chemistry, reaction time and pump design determine what can remove residues and when.
Check the instructions for the product, pump, head, hoses and seals being used. Cleaning must remove residues before they set in the channels. Preservation protects an already cleaned system during downtime. A preservative does not replace removal of injection material.
Before mixing, prepare the correct medium and a container for collected residues. Compare the planned break duration with material reaction conditions in the assembly. One rule expressed in minutes does not suit every resin, formulation and temperature.
READING THE CROSS-SECTION
The illustration distinguishes the cleaner from the pump preservative. Medium selection depends on injection material chemistry and compatibility with equipment seals. Preparing the pump for the next material requires removal of storage medium residues.

A separate agent for protecting the system after cleaning and during storage. Before the next injection, prepare the pump according to its instructions.
Clean 2K resin systems, including geopolymers and HydroGum delivered with water, using PI Cleaner before residues cure. Material chemistry determines the medium, not merely the number of lines. Do not accidentally introduce water into the line carrying water-reactive PU resin. Check flushing procedures and seal compatibility in the assembly instructions.
Clean and flush the entire 2K system for AcrylGel acrylic gel with water before residues cure. Include both lines, hoses, head and mixer according to the assembly instructions. Pay particular attention to where mixtures meet, since the reaction starts there.
Their instructions specify cleaning with water or warm water, depending on the material. Do not apply this method to a system after PU resin without preparation in accordance with its instructions.
Residues of the previous injection material or storage agent may affect the new material. Prepare and flush the line according to the instructions before the next task.
Stop the equipment and depressurise the system before disconnecting. Cleaning should include the tank, valves, hose, coupling and mixer according to the assembly design. Clear discharge does not remove the need to check places where material may remain.
Do not try to force out a cured resin blockage using higher pressure. Carry out further servicing according to the equipment instructions. After cleaning, apply the specified protection for downtime; before the next job, check clear passage, tightness and line preparation.
Start with the repair objective and conditions in the injection zone. Check preparation, working time, pumping and cleaning in the selected material's data sheet. The correct packer is part of this method, not a substitute for substrate assessment.
Prepare a cross-section, a description of water and movement, and results of previous trials. ResinBau helps select the material and application method.
