Plastic packer
A component installed in the hole; its geometry and installation method must suit the substrate and actual borehole dimension.
KNOWLEDGE · EQUIPMENT AND INJECTION
Packer suitability depends on its design, hole condition and injection conditions. Body material alone does not determine the appropriate application.
Plastic packers can have different geometries, valves and installation methods. Match the actual hole dimension, substrate, injection material and permitted operating conditions to the selected model. Do not assume every plastic packer has the same pressure range or suits the same masonry.
The trial should demonstrate secure installation, tightness and clear passage. A crumbled or oversized hole may not hold the packer despite matching nominal labels.
READING THE CROSS-SECTION
The drawing shows plastic packers and installation tools. Selection requires assessment of the actual hole diameter, substrate and valve operation. Installation method and permitted operating range must be checked for the specific model.

The tool is used to drive in the packer. The source description warns against striking the injection nipple directly, which may deform it.
If the model is installed using a driving tool, follow its intended installation procedure. Striking the injection nipple directly may deform it and impair connection or valve operation. Installation depth must leave a clear path to the repair zone.
After installation, check the hose connection and the ability to make controlled observations. Do not compensate for packer instability by increasing injection pressure.
Hole condition, material viscosity, flow cross-section and valve all influence injection. If the pump shows pressure without expected uptake, check for blockages and whether the target zone has been reached. Simply choosing another body material does not resolve this situation.
Before removal, depressurise the system according to the instructions. Finish the holes according to the repair detail. Proper surface preparation after removing accessories is part of sealing acceptance.
Start with the repair objective and conditions in the injection zone. Check preparation, working time, pumping and cleaning in the selected material's data sheet. The correct packer is part of this method, not a substitute for substrate assessment.
Prepare a cross-section, a description of water and movement, and results of previous trials. ResinBau helps select the material and application method.
