Water per 15 kg of dry mix3 l ±4%, i.e. 2.88–3.12 l

1,45 kg/l describes dry mix consumption per litre of mortar, not the density of the entire wet mix. Mortar results do not determine anchor or repaired element capacity. Water conditions must protect the fresh filling from flow.

Storage and shelf life
Dry, cool place away from sunlight; 12 months in the original, unopened packaging.

Applications and selection criteria

First establish the repair objective, substrate condition, presence of water and joint movement.

01

Voids, cracks and gaps

Concrete, reinforced concrete, masonry and stone within the thickness range stated in the TDS. Grain size and gap accessibility limit the ability to inject.

02

Submerged filling

The mortar has increased resistance to washout. The TDS requires no flow during injection and for 12 h afterwards, depending on the element temperature.

03

Anchoring and pipe stabilisation

Embedding anchors and bars in concrete or rock and stabilising pipes within the scope specified by the design. This does not replace selection of anchorage length and capacity.

Application conditions and limitations

Standing water and active flow are different conditions. Do not inject fresh mortar into an uncontrolled stream. Do not treat rigid mortar as a flexible seal for a moving joint. Protect fresh filling from drying and frost.

How the material behaves

Water-filled voids permitted; no flow during application and for 12 h afterwards, depending on temperature. Rigid filling; not intended to accommodate expansion joint movement.

Preparation and application

Work sequence after assessing the structure and selecting the method. Full requirements are given in the product instructions.

  1. Prepare the zone and water conditions

Check voids, accessibility and access routes. For water-filled spaces, plan to stop the flow during delivery and curing.

  2. Measure water and add the mix

Pour water into a clean container. Add dry mortar while mixing. For 15 kg, use 3 l ±4% of water.

  3. Mix at low speed for 3 min

Do not substitute trowel mixing for the recommended mixing method. Match the batch to the working time and apply using equipment intended for mortar.

  4. Monitor filling and cure

Monitor material passage and quantity. Protect the mortar from washout, frost and rapid drying. Clean tools and the system with water according to the pump instructions.
